PacwestK9 ("PacwestK9," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at https://pacwestk9.com (the "Site") and provides dog training, board and train, sport and protection training, structured daycare, and boarding services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or our Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
Contact form and inquiry information. When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, email address, and any details you provide about your dog (breed, age, behavior concerns, training goals).
Booking and evaluation information. When you book an evaluation or appointment, we collect scheduling details, service selections, and information you provide during booking. Appointments are booked through Square, and Square collects that information under its own privacy policy.
Client and service records. If you become a client, we collect information needed to deliver Services, including your dog's name, breed, age, vaccination records, veterinary contact information, feeding instructions, medication instructions, behavioral history, and emergency contact details.
Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Square). We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Our processors receive your payment details directly and handle them under their own privacy and security practices.
Communications. If you email, call, or text us, or message us on social media, we keep a record of that correspondence.
Consent records. If you check a box consenting to text messages, we record your consent, the date and time it was given, and the phone number provided.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring URL, and time spent on pages
- Cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies
Our Site is built and hosted on a third-party platform (HighLevel / LeadConnector), which processes this information on our behalf.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from social media platforms (for example, if you message us through Instagram or Facebook), from advertising platforms, or from referrals.
2. How We Use Your Information

- Respond to your inquiries and follow up about training for your dog
- Schedule, confirm, and manage evaluations, sessions, boarding, and daycare
- Provide and administer training, boarding, daycare, and related Services
- Care for your dog safely, including feeding, medication administration, and contacting your veterinarian or emergency contact if needed
- Process payments and maintain billing records
- Send transactional and service-related messages (appointment reminders, confirmations, changes, follow-ups)
- Send marketing and promotional messages, where you have consented
- Improve the Site, our programs, and our customer experience
- Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations
- Prevent fraud, enforce our policies, and protect the safety of people and animals
3. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms and Consent
Our contact form includes two separate, optional consent checkboxes:
- Non-marketing (transactional) messages — appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, and responses to your inquiry.
- Marketing and promotional messages — special offers, discounts, program announcements, and updates.
You are not required to consent to either in order to purchase Services. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of that message category. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information collected for SMS purposes is shared only with the service providers that help us send those messages on our behalf, and is not shared for any other purpose.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers. Website and CRM platform, appointment booking (Square), payment processing, email and SMS delivery, hosting, and analytics providers — each only to the extent needed to perform services for us.
Veterinary and emergency care. If your dog requires medical attention while in our care, we may share relevant information with a veterinarian or emergency clinic.
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, enforce our agreements, investigate potential violations, or protect the safety of any person or animal.
Business transfers. If PacwestK9 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your direction or consent. For example, if you ask us to share training notes with another trainer or a veterinarian.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Regardless of where you live, you may:
- Opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected].
Note that we may need to keep certain records to comply with legal, tax, or safety obligations, or to resolve disputes.
Washington residents. Washington's My Health My Data Act may apply to certain consumer health data. We do not knowingly collect consumer health data about you as defined by that law; the health information we collect relates to your dog.
California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA, you may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion or correction, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, Texas, and others) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, and to appeal a denied request.
